The Samsung Austin R&D Center (SARC) was founded in 2010 with a focus on CPU development. In 2017, SARC merged with Advanced Computing Lab (ACL) as a joint charter and started growing the GPU team. Since 2020, SARC/ACL has been on a mission to grow our center of excellence to develop competitive solutions for GPU, and system IP, including memory controllers.
